It doesn’t need a cover. I keep it attached to my key chain (I’ve kept it that way since I got it), and it works just great. Don’t worry about damaging it, it’s made of metal, it’s tough.

I saw this on youtube. Thanks for sharing. Two questions please,

1. Doesn’t it need a cover to protect it? I can see that it is somewhat protected but the (not sure what they are called) bronze strips seem to be exposed.

2. Is it still working well?

Don’t have access to one, but I have a feeling it won’t work there. Windows 98 and 95 usually required drivers for all sorts external devices (including flash drives and flash card readers). They didn’t have generic or specific ones pre-loaded.
