The last canoli
Ligia and I worked on this video for the past couple of days. The initial idea was to do visual tricks where I’d eat the canoli with my “mind”, and I kept experimenting with different angles and trying to figure out how to best edit it in iMovie HD. In the end, I changed it entirely and decided to go with a little conflict — all in good fun, of course.
The video was put together so it could be entered in Vimeo’s “Love at First Bite” competition, but it ended up being too long (over a minute in length), and the official limit, stated in the rules, is 30 seconds. Since we like it just the way it is, I decided not to re-shoot it and not to enter it in the competition after all.

Please don’t think Ligia would steal my last canoli in real life. This video was scripted, from beginning to end. Entirely. Ligia is a sweetheart. She’d share her last bite of food with me. She’s so nice I think she’ll grow wings and turn into an angel pretty soon.

Raoul,Canoli video is hilarious. It was outragous when Ligia snatched the much coveted pastry right out of your mouth. Like snatching victory out of the jaws of defeat! I truly felt your pain(as I,too,love canolis). Tell Ligia her timing was impeccable. Good job guys!
