My first reaction was "Here's someone who thinks like me"...because what you said was so true. I'm a purist and half the time(make that almost ALL the time)remakes never quite measure up. Somtimes I believe they ought to leave well enough alone. Just goes to show where the concept of originality has gone,by way of the Dodo bird....maybe?
