As humans, we're expected to build upon our collective knowledge and reach newer and better heights, but unfortunately some of us prefer to make cheap Chinese knockoffs (figuratively speaking) out of that knowledge instead of using their brains to come up with something innovative. Originality is still alive and well, but it's rarer to find it these days. Thanks Ava!

I just had to comment on what you said about remakes not being as good as the originals. My first reaction was "Here's someone who thinks like me"...because what you said was so true. I'm a purist and half the time(make that almost ALL the time)remakes never quite measure up. Somtimes I believe they ought to leave well enough alone. Just goes to show where the concept of originality has gone,by way of the Dodo bird....maybe?
