Ma Bell would also like to make NSA tap evidence disappear

This is interesting. The EFF (Electronic Frontiers Foundation) discovered that AT&T has been sharing wholesale internet traffic information with the NSA, and filed a brief, under seal, to get documents out into the open, so people could see what’s going on. Well, the Justice Department has now ruffled its feathers at the request, and AT&T also wants the documents returned. Plus, the company that makes the monitoring software, Narus, is trying to distance itself from the situation… See link for details.
